Yippeeee!
Today was my last day at Optimum, i could say i’m really sad but that would be a total lie, i most certainly will not be sorry to see some of those mundane jobs out of my life. Although i did meet some very nice people and suprisingly i felt emotional when i did the goodbye rounds at 5.30… i have to say i got a strange sense of pleasure when people asked me what i will be doing next?… definitely something a little more interesting. Today i had to visit my new company and pick up a script that my new boss wants me to read over the weekend and provide her notes and my opinion on monday. I have read a couple of pages, seems like some sort of horror based on a very popular Hungarian book that has been translated into 47 languages and won several international literary awards.
I received a very nice card with a 20 quid voucher in it. One must spend that wisely. Today i had an obvious spring in my step, something new and exciting is on the horizon. I can’t write too much today, i have meetings to prepare for tom.
